 Narrative dramas and experimental films connect us with the importance of water. Followed by a documentary about women who are redefining the balance of women in advocacy, society and conservation. 


 

Surf & Turf: Plastics, PFAS & Pesticides

This documentary block explores the beauty and importance of water and that which is impacting sea and groundwater food sources. 


With a special appearance by actor, environmental advocate and Executive Producer of ‘Ripple Effect’ and ‘Sludge’ Matthew Modine; and an experts panel featuring Columbia Climate School’s Dr. Beizhan Yan, Garver’s Dr. Ashley Pifer, and Mount Sinai’s Dr. Dania Valvi, MD, PhD, MPH.

    • CLOSING FILM: ‘Disappearing Man’. Octogenarian artist Robert Janz weaves his own aging and impending disappearance, with the impermanent nature of his most recent, life-affirming works of art - street bound water paintings.
